REDI participated in Eleven Magazine's 2015 Design Competition. The challenge for the design competition was to design floating structures that would support improving the health and sanitation of the Tonal Sap Lake communities. REDI's angle was to apply ecological design techniques to restore the Lake's ecology to support the socio-economic and ecological health of the people of Tonal Sap Lake.

In collaboration with Group 70 Intl., REDI participated in the Kaoshiung design competition by designing engineered wetlands to restore the bay of Kaoshiung Bay, Taiwan. The restorative wetlands would be key features for bringing back wildlife to the urban core as well serve as features to beautify the new attraction center.
