REDI served as the prime designer for the design-build project that incorporated constructed wetlands into Pond #13 on the Ernie Els golf course, aiming to reduce algal blooms caused by high nutrients in the groundwater and runoff. The constructed wetlands were designed to provide ongoing treatment, aesthetic value, and serve as habitat to native Hawaiian fauna.
