Rainbow Drive In

REDI led the design-engineering for converting two city bulb outs into bioretention/biofiltration cells. The two bulb outs were creating safety hazards due to tall plantings. The systems will receive road drainage that is diverting into the gardens. The redeveloped stormwater landscapes will include easy-to-maintain native plants and underdrains such that they serve as stormwater filters that also improve site-lines for both the pedestrians and vehicles.
