Waimea 400 is a proposed mixed-use 400-acre affordable housing project on the west side of Kauai that includes agriculture and wetland restoration. REDI provided a technical feasibility study and master planning services to design a 150-acre constructed wetland to serve both as flood control and restoration. In addition, REDI is leading green infrastructure planning that includes soil restoration and identifying nonpotable water sources that can support the community project.
